Comment by Greg Howes on March 31, 2012 at 9:57pm I just joined the RhinoFabLab and this group. I am very interested in connecting with others interested in cam/cnc fabrication. I work withSwiss and German engineers fabricating primarily wood-framed structures using CNC lines from companies like Hundegger and cam software such as Cadwork. Although we are a small company, we have decades of experience fabricating more than a 1,000 projects in 10 countries. We are very interested in fabricating appropriate projects designed in Rhino and Grasshopper.
Here is a video showing our very technical process on a project we did in the Lake Tahoe region in California. This makes very clear our obsession with cnc fabrication.
Comment by Greg Howes on March 31, 2012 at 9:50pm We also recently finished fabricating a 7,000 square foot passive house project which was assembled at the site in 6 days. This project was designed to the very rigorous Passive House standard.

Here are a couple of photos of a handrail that we built in Seattle Wa. Our facility is located in Idaho about 12 hours drive away from Seattle. The contractor had the stairs built by others, I flew to Seattle and gathered digital measurements with the proliner. Approximately 4 hours on-site and a couple of hours reviewing those measurements on the lap top. Back to Idaho where we fabricated all of the pieces. One trip to Seattle to install. The digital fabrication evolution really is quite a leap forward in my opinion.
All the Best
